Smoking is a terrible thing!

It makes you a slave to nicotine and it limits your freedom.

You poison your own body and that of those around you.
It empties your wallet and there's little to nothing you get in return.

I'm Victor and used to be a heavy smoker

I wrote this e-course to help other smokers get rid of their addiction. I did it in 25 days, and now, 1 year later, I am still smoke-free and have never been happier.

My Personal Story

When I look back at my life, I feel like I am standing still in time. There is a whirlwind of memories, experiences, and stories that zoom around my mind space creating a shrine of thoughts in my mind.

Hi, I'm Victor and I survived a smoking addiction of 20 years. I haven't touched a cigarette for years now and it took me one moment to reevaluate my entire life's progress to make an effort to stop. I first picked up a cig in high school; junior high. They always tell you, there's where all the bad habits start. And mine sure did. In the alley behind my school, I sat atop a dumpster with my 15-year old classmate.

He sat puffing away luxuriously, inhaling the putrid fumes from this slim, long tube protruding from his mouth. I watched him in awe as he performed a variety of smoke tricks that he had undoubtedly picked up along the way. Before I knew it, I was saying yes to him offering me a smoke.

After that my life became a blur of addiction and habits that I could not break. My high school years followed with a sense of despair and hopelessness. I was unable to break free from the habit that started as a simple act of politeness to impress my friend then proceeded to be a fully-fledged dangerous addiction which pulled my life down to the dumps.

My health deteriorated substantially and my healthy boyish body melted away to a skinny, malnourished version of me. I was facing a constant inner struggle with myself as I was unable to pursue my passions and dreams in life with this addiction that I couldn't get rid of.

After high school, I got to find myself a position in an art college overseas where I found a new environment, atmosphere, and place to grow in. However, I was still unhappy and addicted to nicotine. I was burning up a pack a day without a single second thought. To light a cig and glue it to my lips was an impulse reaction to every situation I was made part of.

My conscience laid heavy on me, day and night while my stress levels peaked. I flunked my first-year exams in college and my whole life went into pieces. That was when I decided to make the one decision that I didn't know would alter my life forever.

I packed my bags on an especially humid September night. I decided to go backpacking around the world, with nothing but a couple of tens on me for gas and dollar meals. I was aware that, that would barely suffice...but it was a sliver of hope. I was willing to hold on to it for dear life.

I set off on foot to the nearest bus station in Wales and so began my journey of purpose. I didn't know where I was headed. I had no plans and not an inkling of what this journey would help me achieve. But something deep down inside of me urged me to follow this peculiar instinct.

During my long travel I was robbed of the freedom to stroll up to the nearest shop and purchase a packet or two of cigarettes, I was left with no choice. I had to quit.

I traveled to Eastern Europe where the land ran wide and there were hidden realities stowed away in every corner I was to turn. It was there that I found the biggest hidden reality to my freedom and successful life away from cigarettes.
